About the Presenter

Jeffrey is the President and Founder of Capability Accelerators. CA is an innovative business consulting and executive talent development firm specializing in teaching the leadership and management tools and methodologies necessary to excel in the rapidly changing business world of the 21st century.
He has an extensive leadership background which includes being a successful entrepreneur; a CEO; Chairman of the Board of non-profits, a partner in a Think Tank, as well as being a lobbyist and a political leader. He has been appointed by three Rhode Island Governors to serve on various boards, commissions and councils. He has served along side Congressmen, Senators, Governors, Fortune 500 CEO's and many creative and talented individuals from all walks of life working to improve the world in which we live.
Jeffrey developed this innovative experiential leadership training as a result of his personal experiences of being in management and leadership positions for the past 30 years. Over the past 10 years he has learned how changing from a manager to becoming a leader transforms the individual, the organization and the culture into much higher performing entities, while expending less effort.
Jeffrey firmly believes the intense demands of today’s world is forcing us all to transcend traditional style of management and to ascend to the level of leadership, if we are to be successful.

Jeffrey has served as a pro-bono lobbyist at the RI General Assembly from 1990 to 1997. During this time he co-authored the nation’s first state based telecommunications contracting licensing law that passed in 1994. (RI General Law Chapter 5-70). He has also assisted in the developing telecommunications lobbying strategies for organizations in Missouri, Delaware and Massachusetts.
In addition, he has also worked on a variety of political campaigns on state and local levels since 1992. During this time he has served in the capacities of campaign manager, media relations or as a campaign strategist.
